Twenty One Pilots Trench Album Review

The Fifth Studio Album is Finally Here!
Trench_1000

The three-year wait is finally over, Twenty One pilots released their fifth studio album on the 5th October of this year.

With different genres from Rap (‘Levitate’) to Indie (‘Bandito’), you know you are in for a treat and another typical Twenty One Pilots album that will keep you on your toes and keep your head from nodding with the strong rhythmic drumbeat from the first second of the first track ‘Jumpsuit’, Twenty One Pilots are back.

The concept album is based on a world, called Dorma,  which works well with their last studio album Blurryface being a character, so the idea that was had from the Ohio based band is ingenious. The world was thought up when the band took a year out of releasing new music and doing live shows to focus on the writing and the path that the duo want to take.  Dorma is a small populated world which is ruled by nine bishops, with a mysterious character named Nico, this could be explained by the ninth track ‘Nico and The Niners’  are they coming back into fashion?????

The band is now preparing for a tour in Europe for the album release which is happening in February to March with seven dates in five different cities, which I’m sure will be an epic show.

After the wait, the album has not failed to disappoint and the future for Twenty One Pilots seems very bright and hopeful.
